Course Description: A Chief Stationary Engineer is the highest-level operator within the stationary engineering program. Traditionally, there are fewer operators who achieve their Chief Stationary Engineer License as this level is treated as a management operator role with oversight of a large facility and crews of engineers of all levels. This licensing level allows the individual to operate an unlimited amount of boiler horsepower within a designated plant along with an unlimited number of tons of refrigeration.

Completion/Certificate: Upon completion of this course students will receive a certificate of completion from the instructor. Upon successfully passing the city exam, students are then able to apply for the City License for 2 nd Class Stationary Engineer. Students will have the ability to seek employment in the field from various employers, apply for higher positions within their existing company as well as pursue a better employment opportunity with another employer
