Steam Engineering Technology 2

Course Description This is the second required course in the Facilities Maintenance Engineering Program to prepare an individual to be a 2nd Class Stationary Engineer. Topics will include: a review of Steam Tech I, basic high-pressure steam plant operations, basic refrigeration and basic electricity. At the end of this course, the individual will be eligible to apply for a 2nd Class Stationary Engineer’s License for the City of Buffalo.
Additional Note This program is designed to prepare individuals for the 2nd Class, and 1st Class stationary Engineering Licensure. Steam Tech 1 through 4 is a pre-requisite for the Facilities Maintenance Engineering Diploma.
