This entry-level course for the Facilities Maintenance Engineering Program introduces a person to the basics of steam plant operation. This is the first of two courses required to prepare an individual for a 2nd Class Stationary Engineer License for the City of Buffalo.

This program is designed to prepare individuals for the 2nd Class, and 1st Class stationary Engineering Licensure. Steam Tech 1 through 4 is a pre-requisite for the Facilities Maintenance Engineering Diploma.
