This course will prepare you to care for and
meet emergencies when medical assistance is
delayed. This course provides fundamentals in
first aid and accident prevention including
adult CPR, prevention of disease transmission,
bleeding control, splinting and proper use of
the external defibrillator. Students will also
become certified through the American Heart
Association Heartsaver CPR course.
